AI Content Credit

Definition
An AI Content Credit is a unit of usage in Quratic for generative AI features such as Content Studio drafts, chat revisions, insights, simulations, Impact Briefs, and prompt or keyword suggestions. Plans include a monthly org-pooled allowance; most text actions cost one credit, and generated hero or inline images cost five.
What AI Content Credits power
AI Content Credits meter creation and refinement work inside Quratic — not the scheduled prompt runs that produce your AI visibility dashboards. Each credit unlocks one billable AI action for your organization. Credits are pooled per organization, so every project under the same plan shares one balance.
Typical uses include:
- Quratic Content Studio — draft generation, chat revisions, readiness insights, prompt simulation, and A/B variations
- Impact Briefs — on-demand strategy summaries from your visibility data
- Suggestions — AI-generated prompt and keyword ideas
Publishing to your {project}.quratic.org preview site does not consume credits.
How credits are spent
Quratic uses a flat model so teams can estimate usage without a token calculator:
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Text AI action (draft, revise, insights, simulation, brief, suggest, etc.) | 1 |
| Hero or inline image generation | 5 |
When an action runs, one credit is deducted before the model call. If the request fails, the credit is refunded.
Estimating articles per plan
For planning, one polished AI visibility article in Content Studio is often estimated at ~4 credits: one draft generation, about two chat revisions, and one insights or simulation pass. Hero images are extra at five credits each.
Example allowances on paid plans:
| Plan | Monthly credits | ~Articles* |
|---|---|---|
| Trial | 10 | ~2 |
| Starter | 100 | ~25 |
| Growth | 250 | ~62 |
*Rounded down from the ~4-credit estimate. Actual usage varies with how much you revise, regenerate, or generate images.
Purchased credit packs roll over; monthly plan credits reset each billing period.
How this relates to GEO and AEO
Credits do not replace GEO or AEO — they fuel the content production layer. Visibility data tells you where you are under-mentioned; Content Studio turns that into owned pages structured with answer blocks and publishable drafts. Credits are the fuel for that loop, separate from the AI checks that measure prompt runs across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other engines on your tracking cadence.
